Restaurants I've visited

Good ramen spot. If you go, just get the ramen.

You should try the drunken noodles with a cold Asahi if you want the meal to make immediate sense.

Solid Mediterranean spot. The spaghettini with clams is what i remember most.

Very very good. Get the New Tokyo Style Shoyu.

Very good Sichuan spot. The dry pepper chicken, egg drop soup, and dry pot beef all hit.

Solid comfort food spot. Get the chilli garlic naan and butter chicken.

Good if you are in the mood for all you can eat shabu. Slightly indulgent, but worth it.

If you really love Mediterranean food you may rate this higher than i did. Still, get the chicken hummus appetizer.

Good sake and sushi spot. Pretty simple.

Roti and jerk chicken is the move. Fun, straightforward, and easy to like.

Pretty mid for me. I left thinking I probably should have tried the ribs instead.

Solid Italian spot uptown. The calamari appetizer stood out for me.

You should try the Pad See Ew here.

Dumplings were good. Rest was just ok for me.

Burger is very good and i also liked the chicken sliders.

Very very good. Get the Chungking spicy chicken.

A classic East Village stop. You should try the pierogi.

Very good Mediterranean spot. Hard to get a res though.

Liked it enough to keep it here.

A strong Thai dinner spot. You should try the drunken noodles and duck spring rolls first.

Solid if you are in Tribeca and want Japanese, but nothing crazy.

Pretty solid. Truffle pizza is the thing to get.

Very worth it. Get the braised Jamaican beef pasta, octopus, and affogato.

Go with a group and order a lot. Peking duck and lamb skewers are the move.

Really more of a bar vibe place for me. Good on a Thursday night and not too packed.

You should try the spicy wagyu beef and coconut shrimp here.

Very good old-school Midtown vibes. Burger, tartare, and fries all hit.

The affogato was the most memorable part for me, even more than the rest of the meal.

More vibes than food for me. Good atmosphere if that is the mood and you want hookah too.

Fun Brazilian dinner spot. Get the picanha for two and the coxinha.

Good Nigerian food around Midtown.

Good brunch spot. Halloumi eggs and french toast.

Paella was solid. That is mostly the pitch for me.

Solid Greek spot.

A decent Thai option if you want drunken noodles and a reliable meal.

Ribs were the standout for me.

Special dry beef noodles are very very good.

Very good and a bit different. Get the escargot rendang, lobster noodles, and octopus.

Low-key speakeasy on the UES. Nice for drinks.

Nice enough setting, but the seafood pasta did not work for me.

Very good for brunch or dinner. Octopus is the thing i remember most.

Very solid dim sum spot. Get the shu mai and the sliced chicken with black bean sauce.

Very very good Thai spot. Get the crab fried rice and pad thai.

Authentic Japanese spot on Tompkins. Solid neighborhood place.

The noodles with fried pork are the hook for me here.

Very good cocktail bar. If the plan is drinks first, this is a good one.

The entry gimmick still works, and it is a fun East Village bar stop.

Very good brunch spot. Get the brisket hash and french toast.

Very solid bar stop if you are around the LES or East Village.

Good if you want something a bit lively around Chinatown.

Good Chinatown cocktail hang. Drinks are strong.

Very very good. Go with people and share a lot.

Simple, very good pasta spot. yum yummmm.

The wings and beef noodles were the standouts for me here.

Not bad, but some of the appetizers felt kinda mid and too close to reheated from frozen.

The room is better than the food for me. Dessert was the strongest part and the portions felt too small.

You should try the spicy garlic chicken here.

Fun group dinner spot. Korean pancakes were great and honestly just get the soju.

Wanted it on here as a group spot.

Whole menu is kind of bomb. Very hard to go too wrong here.

Duck curry and curry puff were better than the chive pancake for me.

Liked it enough to keep it on here.

Very good takeout Chinese spot uptown. Get the mala chicken.

Very good. If you go, just get the Butcher's Feast.

Good overall. Ribs could have used a little more seasoning though.

Very very good. Get the rendang beef, crispy chicken, and roti.

Very good drinks.

Liked enough of it to keep it here.

A lower-rated one for me. Glad I tried it, but not one I would push to the top of the list.

Very good Chinatown spot.

Good brunch and cocktails spot. Mezze platter and french toast.

Mixed bag for me. Crab fried rice was good and the wings were better than the curries.

Good Italian spot. Check the specials, and get the tartare or bolognese.

Good brunch spot and the setting is nice too.

Good shareable Thai spot. Wagyu fried rice, beef shank curry, and curry puffs.

Good Williamsburg Sichuan spot. You should try the spicy squid, Chungking spicy chicken, and cumin lamb.

It was ok for me. Kung pao chicken was fine and i skipped the drinks that night.

Ceviche was the best part. The lomo saltado was solid, though the potatoes held it back a little.

Dry pot!! That is the move.

Dumplings and Shanghai noodles with beef and shrimp were the move. The duck was a bit too salty, but nevertheless good.

Definitely get the ribs pho. Not too sure about anything else yet.

The crispy fried rice was mid, to be honest. Scallion pancakes were nice, but maybe way too crispy. The beer hall / sports bar vibe was interesting though.

I can't remember the specific dishes, but the flavoring wasn't great either, hence the rating.

Brunch was fire. The entire menu is fire. The lychee cocktail and espresso martini were both worth getting.

The calamari was a bit mid, and the chicken and shrimp shumai were mid too.

European wine bar energy. The scallop dish was good, and the crab dish was too yum.

It was only about two months old when I went, and it definitely has potential.

Disco fries were fun. The crab fried rice was a 7/10, while the lobster fettuccine in red curry sauce was an 8.8/10. Also tried the pancakes / French toast.

The beef skewers were 🔥. Shrimp fried rice was 👎🏾. Wings were 👍🏾.

The branzino and coconut crab curry were both excellent.

Good French restaurant in Flatbush. Get the Risbo platter.

The drinks were an 8.5/10. The Italian restaurant next door is on my list to try, and I will definitely go back.

The Restaurant Week menu was a good time: affogato, rigatoni pasta, a mezcal negroni, beef tartare, tuna crudo, and roast chicken.

Classic Mediterranean food. The hummus and beef shawarma platter were the standouts.

Frog legs, an Oaxaca Old Fashioned, and the fried chicken sandwich all stood out.

The butter chicken experience, butter naan, caramelized onion and cumin rice, laal maas, and nihari birria tacos were all part of the meal.

I had the ras and pasta, plantains, suya rib eye, and ribs. I think the ras and pasta and suya rib eye lacked flavoring.
